What if my Provider doesn’t show up

If a Care Provider misses an appointment, follow these steps:

  1. Attempt to Contact the Provider

    • We recommend calling or messaging the provider directly to check what happened.
  2. Submit a Dispute

    • If the provider does not show up, you will need to raise a dispute in the Carelancer app.
    • To do this:
      • Go to the My Appointments section.
      • Click View on the missed appointment.
      • Scroll to the bottom and click "Raise Dispute".
      • Provide detailed information about the issue for our Customer Support team.
  3. Carelancer Support Review

    • Our Customer Support team will review the situation and determine the next steps.
    • If the provider is found at fault, a refund may be issued based on the dispute resolution process.
  4. Rebooking the Appointment

    • If you still require the service, you will need to:
      • Create a new job post or
      • Send a new proposal to another Care Provider.
