Managing Incoming Proposals

When a Care Seeker sends you a proposal, it’s important to review and respond promptly to secure job opportunities.

Steps to Manage Incoming Proposals:

  1. Log in to your Carelancer account.
  2. Navigate to the "Your Jobs" section and click on the "Proposals" tab.
  3. Select a proposal to view the job details, including:
    • Service type and responsibilities
    • Rate and total payment
    • Appointment date(s) and time(s)
    • Additional instructions from the Care Seeker

Your Options for Responding to a Proposal:

Accept – If all details are correct, click "Accept" to confirm the job. The appointment will then be scheduled automatically.

Decline – If the job does not match your availability or requirements, you can decline the proposal.

✏️ Modify & Send Back – If you need to adjust the rate, schedule, or other terms, you can modify the proposal and send it back to the Care Seeker for approval.

Best Practices:

  • Respond Quickly – Delayed responses may cause the Care Seeker to choose another provider.
  • Communicate Clearly – If modifications are needed, send a polite message explaining the changes.
  • Keep Track of Proposals – Regularly check the Proposals section to manage your pending requests efficiently.

By managing incoming proposals proactively, you increase your chances of securing consistent work on the platform.
