How do I complete my background check?

All CareProviders on Carelancer are required to complete a background check through ISB Global Services, our official verification partner. This step is mandatory and must be completed even if you are a member of an association like CANSWA or OPSWA.


Steps to Complete Your Background Check

  1. Submit Your Carelancer Profile
    First, complete and submit your Carelancer profile through the onboarding process.

  2. Watch for an Email from ISB
    After your profile is submitted, you will receive an email from ISB Global Services with login credentials and a link to their secure verification portal.

  3. Log In to the ISB Portal
    Use the details provided to access the ISB portal and follow the instructions to complete your background check.

  4. Upload Required Documents
    You will be asked to upload two pieces of valid government-issued ID and any additional documents depending on your role.

  5. Submit and Wait for Confirmation
    Once submitted, ISB will review your information.

    • Background checks are usually completed within 3 business days

    • You will be notified once verification is complete
